Medical Insurance Plans

King provides a choice of two medical plan options. Both plans provide routine, in-network preventive care at no charge, as well as prescription drug coverage and vision coverage. One option features a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), lower premiums and higher deductibles. The other option features lower deductibles and co-insurance with a higher premium.

Prescription Coverage

If you are enrolled in one of King’s medical plans, prescription coverage is included. The coverage includes brand-name, generic and mail-order drugs. Prescriptions for King-owned drugs are covered 100% under the plan with no co-pay.

Vision Coverage

If you are enrolled in one of King’s medical plans, vision coverage is included. The coverage includes annual eye exams and the cost of eyeglass lenses, frames and contact lenses up to the plan maximum.

Dental Insurance Plans

King offers a choice of two dental plans. Both options cover preventive, basic, major and restorative services. One option also covers orthodontia and TMJ services.

Company-Provided Short-Term Disability

Employees unable to work due to pregnancy or a qualifying non-work-related illness or injury may be eligible for short-term disability (STD) income benefits. Basic STD coverage is provided by the company at no cost to employees. An employee buy-up option that allows the purchase of coverage above the company-provided amount is also available.

Long-Term Disability

King offers long-term disability (LTD) coverage at no cost to employees.

Company-Provided Basic Life Insurance

King provides all full-time, benefits-eligible employees with a basic life insurance benefit.

Supplemental Life Insurance

In addition to the basic life benefit provided at no cost, King offers employee and dependent supplemental life insurance to provide added flexibility for employees and their families’ insurance needs.

Health Care FSA & Dependent Care FSA

King offers both healthcare and dependent care FSAs, which allow employees to use pre-tax dollars to pay for certain out-of-pocket healthcare and dependent-care expenses each year.

Work/Life and Employee Assistance Program

King offers employees and their families a Work/Life and Employee Assistance Program to help with crisis situations or everyday issues that become difficult to handle. This comprehensive employee resource program provides confidential access to professional consultants.

Travel Assistance Program

King’s Travel Assistance Program provides emergency travel assistance to eligible employees and their immediate family members who are traveling 100 or more miles from their primary residence, nationally or internationally.

Retirement Plan

The King 401(k) Retirement Plan allows employees to save up to 80% of their income or the IRS personal limit, whichever is less, on a pre-tax basis. The plan features multiple investment fund options, ranging from high risk to low risk. King matches a portion of employee contributions each pay period.

Adoption Reimbursement Benefit

Full-time employees pursuing the adoption of a child are eligible for assistance through our Adoption Reimbursement Benefit. This benefit reimburses up to $6,000 per child.

Tuition Reimbursement

King offers an education assistance benefit to help employees gain the skills needed to advance professionally and personally. Through this benefit, the company will consider the reimbursement of tuition and book costs for classes or degree programs deemed beneficial to both the employee and the company, in the employee’s present position or positions the employee may reasonably hope to attain in the foreseeable future.
