Our highly cost-effective, readily scalable R&D model sets us apart from other pharmaceutical companies. King’s in-house Scientific Operations team is over 100 persons strong. Our drug development scientists, regulatory and drug safety staff manage the full range of R&D activities for late-stage products: drug discovery, clinical development, drug safety, regulatory affairs, medical affairs and project management. Most recently, King has assembled a robust pipeline of innovative, effective pain treatments that are designed to resist or deter common methods of abuse associated with many currently available painkillers. Our late-stage pain products in development include REMOXY®, an extended release oxycodone product, Embeda™, an extended release morphine product, and ACUROX®, an immediate release oxycodone product.
