In 2 double-blind studies, 200 patients with acute muscle spasm and low-back pain were divided and then randomized into sequential controlled clinical trials of 100 patients each. Patients in both trials received either SKELAXIN® 800mg QID or placebo QID for 7 days.7
No incidence of sedation was reported in either study.7,a
